LKJ Lewada Zakrzow is a riding club founded in 1991, specializing in dressage. Since 1996 Lewada has been constantly placed on the top of Polish Equestrian Federation ranking. Lewada’s riders represent our country in dressage competition.
The Chairman and trainer of LKJ „Lewada” is Andrzej Salacki, who as a rider, has achieved twelve medals in Polish National Championships. As a first polish copetitor Mr Salacki has qualified to World Cup Finals in dressage and has won two medals in World Championships in vaulting. He has been widely respected due to his riding program on Grand Prix level, performed on a horse without a bridle. This program has also been performed during a special performance in Windsor Palace in front of Queen Elizabeth II. Since 2008 Mr Andrzej Salacki has been a member of board of the elite International Dressage Trainer Club, which associates the best world dressage trainers. In 2012 Mr Salacki was a manager of Polish National Dressage Team during The Olympic Games in London. Since 2017 Mr Salacki is trainer of Polish Dressage National Team.
For past 30 years of „Lewada’s” work its riders have achieved more than 100 medals in all age categories of Polish Championships and Polish Championships of Young Horses, which is understood as a national sensation. The most titled Lewada’s rider is Zaneta Skowrońska-Kozubik, who is the thirteen-time medal winner during Polish National Senior Championships.
LKJ Lewada is the organizer of prestigious sport and cultural events, out of which the most important is „Art Cup” – celebrities championships in dressage. Since 2012 Lewada has been organizing International Endurance Competition (CEI). To take part in this event riders come from the whole Europe and also from the area of Persian Gulf.
In 2013 in Zakrzow, there was an opening of Multifunctional Equestrian Center. Due to modern infrastructure, „Lewada” has organized International Dressage Competition CDI***, Show Jumping Competitions, Agricultural Exhibition and Hunting and Riding Fair. In 2016 we organised first time CDI-W competition. In the years 2013-2022 we organized a total of sixteen editions of the CDI Zakrzów competition.
In autumn 2023, we organizie the CDI international competition in Wrocław for the first time. We will make every effort to ensure that this event is prepared at the same high level as the previous CDI organized by us.
